A WALK IN THE PARK (iii)

We discovered this third tree during a family bike ride along a local trail, on our way to explore yet another playground. Perched atop a grassy knoll, this river red gum stood like a twisted hand rising from the earth, proudly overlooking the valley beyond.

I’ve always been captivated by the way river red gums twist and turn in their dance with nature. They remind me of giant bonsai trees, defying the usual rules of growth, each following its own path. Every tree has a unique shape, each telling its own story, shaped by time and the elements.
